Janet Kusch enjoys a national reputation as a leader in women’s healthcare. She has developed and led innovative programs that have received awards and recognition at every level. She has more than 25 years experience in education and healthcare. She has trained and spoken to audiences on a local, national and international level. Her commitment to those she teaches and leads has caused many to call her a leader of passion, practicality and commitment. Janet has developed programs that have been used as models statewide and nationally. Her expertise has been sought as testimony for state and federal decision makers. She understands first hand human resources and personnel issues such as performance appraisal and management, dealing with difficult people, leadership development, change management and dealing with individual differences.
Janet has worked in healthcare in Minnesota, Maryland, Illinois and Wisconsin during her 25-year career. She has received community, regional and national recognition for her work. She is currently the Executive Director of Options in Reproductive Care a Women’s Health Clinic with four locations throughout Western Wisconsin.
Janet received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota, a Master’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Winona State University. Janet has taught as a distinguished lecturer at several colleges and universities. She serves on numerous local and state boards and is the immediate past state president of a major women’s healthcare association.
