Dear Fred,
Thank you so much for your presentation on May 22nd at our Annual Meeting & Expo. I received many compliments on your program. When I stepped into the room, I could see that you had everyone’s undivided attention. You certainly hit the right the note this group.

Again many thanks!
Kathy Gatliff, CMP, CAE

Fred,
I just wanted to say thank you again. I heard lots of very positive comments about your presentation to our group on Monday. Your words were inspiring and thought provoking to our members. Don't be surprised if you hear from a couple of them in the future! I'll also be sharing your contact information with our association's event planner. He's always interested in hearing about speakers who are well received at regional meetings to invite to our national convention.
Thanks again - hope everything came out OK with Max!

Polly Thiel
ABKA Director, Region 9

Dear Fred:
I’m sending this note to thank you for the excellent program you recently provided for our leadership staff. The program clearly focused on our objectives and was delivered in a warm, genuine and engaging way. We all enjoyed the anecdotes and stories you shared to illustrate your presentation. You reminded one participant of Garrison Keillor with your storytelling ability!
Thanks again for listening to our needs and delivering an excellent presentation to meet them.

Sincerely,
Tom Hunsberger
VP-Human Resources

Dear Fred:
It was a pleasure to once again have you come and address our Couleecap All Staff Meeting in March. The Belbin Inventory again proved to be a useful tool in assessing our organization and staff. This kind of information is so valuable to the future of our agency and the way we are able to support our staff. Your straightforward style and the use of exercises keep all staff interested and encourages the maximum participation. Your fresh perspective on our agency really helps us to appreciate our strengths, but also realize our weaknesses and the improvements we can make.
Thank you again for a great presentation.

Sincerely,
Grace Jones
Executive Director

"Few professions have a new “boss” every year. How well do you handle that relationship? If you aren’t sure, you should have heard Fred Kusch at the “CEO Volunteer Leader Symposium”. Even if you are sure and feel you have a good grasp on it, having your volunteer leader hear about the Board/Staff relationship from an outside expert would further your value in the eyes of your Board. For me, the symposium was just that."

D'Ann Brosnahan, CAE, Executive Director, MN Dietetic Assn

Dear Fred:
The Leadership Conference Team wishes to extend a huge “THANK YOU” for speaking at our WHIMA Leadership Conference; it was a success despite the wintry weather!!! Comments from attendees are very positive, and you are a big reason why! Your message was important, and delivered in a way that made it fun, memorable, and practical for daily use. It was a joy to work with you, and we wish you continued success. Attendees particularly liked the interactive exercises and noted on the evaluation forms that they felt comfortable in asking questions and making comments.

Sincerely,
Sandy Bissen
The 2006 WHIMA Leadership Conference Team

Dear Fred:
We at Couleecap want to thank you once again for presenting at our agency’s all-staff meeting. Your presentation on the importance of balancing work and life was beyond inspirational. Your down-to-earth delivery not only kept staff members mentally stimulated, but your passion for the subject spread like wild fire among staff, prompting meaningful discussions and self evaluations. After listening to your personal stories and sharing some laughs, staff felt motivated to assess the balance in their own work and life situations and to start taking necessary steps to set the scales straight again.
Thanks again for this thought provoking presentation. It was truly beneficial to all our staff.

Sincerely,
Grace Jones
Executive Director

Dear Fred,
Thank you for taking the time to present to the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative on internal communication enhancement. I could tell my colleagues - a blend of front-line staff and upper management - were totally engaged in the process. We are determined to sustain and build on the communication techniques you taught us that day.
Your ability to blend humor with content really sets you apart. Some presenters tend to drift one way or the other, resulting in a presentation that is either too dry or frivolous. But you instinctively know how to balance the two and connect with your audience.
Now I know why so many of our member hospitals say, "We'll only work with Fred Kusch - he's great!"

Sincerely,
Larry Clifford
Director of Product & Member Development
Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative

Hi Fred,
Just want to thank you for an awesome two days of brainstorming. What I liked best was realizing you were there for a good reason, not just for the money. Your passion, caring and believing in kids showed through and I think that made us all listen a little more intently to your message. After you finished, I realized that I am truly blessed.

Sheila Parisien
Director of Food Service and Nutrition
Manchester School District

Dear Fred:
I wanted to express my appreciation for the time you spent with us at the Workforce Connections, Inc. all-staff meeting. Your stories and ruminations struck a chord with our staff and I know they enjoyed the depth of your sharing. We all understand that taking care of ourselves needs to be on the top of our to-do list. "The Art of Being Positively Selfish" certainly remind us where self-care belongs. Your engaging delivery and humor made your presentation a popular part of our day.
John Heath
Human Resource Manager
Workforce Connections

Dear Mr.Kusch,
Thank you. Your recent presentation for our company was a wonderful break from the ordinary. It was great to share the time with you in laughter, thought and personal reflection. "The Art of Being Positively Selfish" was just what we were looking for as we planned this presentation for our staff. You were very effective at having each in attendance reflect inward. Your choice of relating personal experience, interlacing it with humor and sharing that with encouragement made the day worthwhile.

Mary Gullicksrud,BSN,RN,NHA
Associate Human Resource Director
Trempealeau County Health Care

Dear Fred,
On behalf of the La Crosse Industrial Safety and Health Council, I would like to thank you for taking the time to present your message on work and life balance. You delivered an excellent message while also including a bit of humor to keep our group's attention and emotions. One of our goals for our Annual Awards meeting was to end the season on a high note, which you helped us accomplish.

Chuck Johnson, Council President
La Crosse Industrial Safety and Health Council

Dear Fred,
I would like to express my thanks for the work you did with our people both at the Safety Conference in March, and also with our managers shortly thereafter. Your sessions are quick hitting and productive. Both groups came away from the sessions feeling that they had started the ball rolling on issues that had been "stewing" for some time. I feel that your up-front and honest approach to dealing with issues head on offered them an excellent opportunity to air their concerns in a setting that was non-confrontational. We are now addressing the issues that were brought forth and hope to resolve them one by one. I look forward to working with you again in the near future.

Best Regards,
Dana P. Fredrickson
Division Manager
Mathy Construction Co.

We would highly recommend JFK Associates to "Energize" any organization with a Keynote Address and/or Workshop & Breakout Sessions.
After having Fred Kusch at our annual State Conference for NE School Food Service, we have heard nothing but "Rave" reviews. Our 350+ members said they felt Revised, Refreshed, and Energized, and ready for a new school year with a better feeling about themselves.
Fred gave us an opportunity to laugh, while building our self esteem. We not only were able to learn, but we shared and cared. We can now look at our jobs, knowing we are not "Just A Cook", but a "School Professional" and be proud of what we do.

Bonnie Hoff, State President
NE School Food Service Association
Scottsbluff, NE

Fred,
Thank you so much for coming. Believe me, I don't look up to you just because you are tall. You and your message has helped me to become a better leader and person.

Sincerely,
Guy Jager
Oregon School Food Service Association
Umatilla, OR

Dear Fred,
I would like to thank you for being a presenter at the Wisconsin Society for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (WISCVPR) conference in Milwaukee. You did a fantastic presentation and everyone who attended the conference appreciated it. It is people like you who help our members of the society stay up to date on new advancements and techniques that assists us to deliver excellent care for patients.

Sincerely,
Kim Beyer, WISCVPR President

Dear Fred,
It is often a challenge to "read" the reaction of a foreign audience, and to know if cultural differences are impacting the presentation. It was clear to me, however, that your principle of "stagnation" was very familiar to the audience - despite our cultural differences. Your approach to overcoming barriers to change was well received by the delegates, and was reflected in their final planning documents.

Warm Regards,
Maureen Jameson, Grants Manager
World Services of La Crosse
